What do I need to start?

Minimum age : 15 (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)
PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can participate in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

If the participant answers yes to any of the medical questions listed then a signed clearance from a doctor, valid within 12 months will be required

For those students who have not dived for over 6 months we recommend that they also complete a Scuba Review.

The Scuba Review is a short refresher course including a review of the safety information you learned during your initial training along with a supervised skill session in confined water with your Instructor. It is also a good idea to get hold of a copy of the PADI Adventures In Diving Manual and complete the appropriate knowledge reviews for the Adventure Dives that interest you.

Can I also make PADI Enriched Air Dives in this course?

Two of your dives can also be combined with the Enriched Air Nitrox Course which will build your confidence as you extend your bottom time. By diving with enriched air rather than standard air you can extend your no decompression limits. This means more time underwater.

Continue your adventure on our day trips to the islands around Pattaya for two days diving and five dives under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor.

Day One Itinerary (times vary depending on diving location):

07:00 – 07:45 Collection from your Hotel in Pattaya
08:00 – 08:15 Boat Departs from Pattaya Pier
09:45 – 11:00 Equipment set up and Safety Briefing
11:00 – 12:00 First Training Dive
12:00 – 13:30 Lunch and time for relaxing
13:30 – 14:30 Second Training Dive
15:00 – 16:30 Journey back and arrival at Pattaya Pier

Want to add NITROX to your mix? You can study with a PADI Instructor before hand in Bangkok and then make two out of your five dives on Nitrox to complete this as a specialty. Two certifications in the time it takes to get one!
