Open Water Diver

What do I need to start?

  • Minimum age 10
  • Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can participate in the PADI Open Water Diver Course

  • If the participant answers yes to any of the medical questions listed then a signed clearance from a doctor, valid within 12 months will be required

What will I do?

Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water dives to a maximum depth of 18 meters.

How many Dives will I make?

The Open Water Diver course has 4 training dives in the ocean and 5 pool dives;

Start your adventure in the classroom and swimming pool and then join our day trips to the islands around Pattaya for two days diving and four dives under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor.

Daily Itinerary
:

10:00 – 13:00 Classroom Session, Bangkok Office located at Phrom Phong BTS Skytrain station exit number 4

13:00 – 14:00 Lunch
14:00 – 17:00 Classroom Session

Day Two Itinerary

12:00 – 17:00 Swimming Pool Session at the Raquet Club (transportation included). Students will meet at the Classroom first

Day Three and Day Four Itinerary (times vary depending on diving location):

07:00 – 07:45 Collection from your Hotel in Pattaya
08:00 – 08:15 Boat Departs from Pattaya Pier
09:45 – 11:00 Equipment set up and Safety Briefing
11:00 – 12:00 First Training Dive
12:00 – 13:30 Lunch and time for relaxing
13:30 – 14:30 Second Training Dive
15:00 – 16:30 Journey back and arrival at Pattaya Pier

 

PLEASE NOTE: The transportation to and from Pattaya, and hotel accommodation is not included in this price.
