PADI Divemaster CourseThe PADI Divemaster course is the first step to becoming a Diving Professional. The course is a comprehensive training program designed to shape and develops the skills and attitudes required to become a Divemaster. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. Choosing the right school for you is the most important decision you will make prior to entering the Dive Industry as a Professional Educator. Here at Samui International Diving School we can provide you the quality and expertise you should expect and demand during your future career training. What can PADI Divemasters do?
What do I need to start?
What will I do?
What is in the Internship Option? Our Internship option allows you to work with real student divers, gaining real world experience while assisting and supervising in our busy PADI Career Development Center. During your internship you will assist in a minimum of two PADI Open Water Diver courses, as well assisting on continuing education courses such as the PADI Advanced Openwater Diver Course and PADI Specialty Diver Courses. You will also gain valuable hands on experience working with our team of Divemasters onboard our Dive Boat MV-Waverunner. During your time onboard you will be assisting with the day to day logistics, giving dive briefings and leading dive tours for certified Divers. You’ll be surrounded by people who are always happy as when you take people diving all day – everyone’s happy. It’s not all fun and games in paradise though, but the rewards are well worth the effort. This work experience will not only allow you to reach the 60 logged dives required to be certified as a PADI Divemaster, it will also give you a head start in finding a job in the industry. For those candidates that have already logged 60 dives the Internship is a great way to reach the 100 logged dives required to enroll in the PADI Instructor Examination (IE) in fact we guarantee 40 dives in your internship training. Is there any Job Placement scheme? On completion of your internship we will try to find you a job in either, one of our own Dive centers or a local dive operators; however please note that we do not guarantee employment or make false promises, but if you have the right positive attitude and good work ethic we will try our hardest to secure a position for you. How long will it take?
