Rescue Diver & E.F.R.
How do you take a subject like accident prevention and management and turn it into fun?Call it the PADI Rescue Diver program! The PADI Rescue Diver will expand your knowledge and experience beyond purely recreational level because you’ll learn to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence. What do I need to start?
What will I do?Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. During the five open water sessions, you’ll cover:
How long will it take?
We generally prefer to conduct our courses over a relaxed 3 days schedule, however if you also need to complete the Emergency First Response Course in conjunction with the Rescue Course then we run the program over 4 days. What will I need?
Start Emergency First Response in the classroom with the DVD and Little Annie before moving on to your next level of diver training with the Rescue Diver academics and knowledge development session. |

What will I do?This comprehensive program is composed of two core modules that can be taught in tandem or as stand-alone courses: Emergency First Response – Primary Care and Emergency First Response – Secondary Care. Together, these courses proved extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid, as well as providing optional (yet recommended) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Emergency Oxygen sections. How long will it take?Depending on the amount of home study, the Primary and Secondary courses maybe completed in as little as four hours. |
